I like this advertisement by Emporio Armarni, I think the font used in it is really nice and legible. I don't particularly like the layout of this ad though I think its quite plain and boring but I think its layed out like this because it attracts a certain audience... older rice people. I suppose that's what they probly like?!
I really dislike the advertisements for the brand 'K-Swiss' I think its really boring and UN-thought about. In all of their ads they use a photograph of the trainer which they are advertising which is fair enough but I don't think its really well thought about it doesn't give a feel for what the shoe/trainer is all about. Is it sporty? Comfortable? Trendy? A walking shoe? A football trainer? I don't know what the shoe is designed for because the poster doesn't give anything away...ahhh well I had to include a bad example didn't I?
I love 'Nike's' advertising its always very arty and aimed at young people. The advertisements are always fun and funky and I really love them.
The third ad displays belief in communicating without the same ol' advertising language that is used all too common. Ads seem more real if they are handwritten. Handwritten has a sense of organic immediacy that brings the language that is advertising down to earth, and consequently more approachable, more listenable, more embraceable.

I have chosen to look at there particular pieces of work because i feel very strongly about domestic violence and I think I would like to design a poster for it. Alot of the posters that I have seen recently for domestic violence is shock advertising but I want to deign a poster that people will look at and think about.
This is an advertisement which I found for 'Marmite' whilst looking through the best ads on T.V, this one especially caught my eye because I love the use of photography and drawing. I think the colour really works well for it is not too, 'in your face' its quite neutral and works really well with the product.

I really love the space in this poster for Sunsilk. Although its not very interactive I decided to include it in my research because I think is another piece of work which interacts with you without realising it. I think it is so easy to use a beautiful model with perfect hair to advertise shampoo and I think that the way that sunsilk had advertised differently really makes it stand out.
This poster demonstrates how nothing is more touching than recieving a letter. I really like this poster, it caught my attention straight away. I think it is a really good way of showing interaction without making a film or annimation...just that one poster says it all. Its really simple but clever as it gets straight to the point. The poster really made me think about how easy it is to get into contact with people and how easy it is to make people smile, a simple letter can go a long way.
I have decided to include Mario Testino in my research because when I first got the breif his website came to mind. His photogrpphy work from his exhibitions is shown like a slideshow and I think the colours used on his website really stand out and make his work look more bold and colourful.
I would love to do some photography similar to Testinos work because I love the way that every piece of his work tells a story.
